Agent-BV (Agent Bot Verifier) is an accountability layer for AI agents that hold funds and act on-chain: escrowed payments, a dispute panel and an on-chain denylist, deployed on Base Sepolia testnet.

Everything here is on Base Sepolia testnet, not mainnet. Use test funds only.

How it works

Test the bot, record it, and back its payments with recourse.

Four steps. Two run on Base Sepolia today. Two are still being built, and they are labeled that way.

  1. In development

    Verify

Bots will run against a library of adversarial scenarios and be scored with a fixed rubric.

  2. Roadmap

    Attest

Results are to be recorded on Base, so anyone can check a bot's standing before they trust it. Not live yet.

  3. Base Sepolia

    Escrow

Payments to an agent are held by the BotAttestationEscrow contract, not by Steward of the King LLC, and are released to the agent or refunded to the payer under the contract's rules.

  4. Base Sepolia

    Resolve

A DisputePanel with three seated arbitrators is designed to settle disputes. Bots can be added to an on-chain denylist.

Claims backstop (experimental): Vault, Liability and InsuranceFund contracts are deployed on Base Sepolia. This is not insurance. No claims have been paid and none are promised; any payout is at the contract owner's discretion. The names are contract names only.

Six core contracts, plus the timelock that owns them.

Every core contract is source-verified on Blockscout except the Denylist, which is still pending.

Timelock powers: After a 1-day delay, the timelock (controlled by the founder's 2-of-2 Safe) can: appoint or remove the dispute arbitrators, including while a dispute is open, which decides whether a disputed escrow is released to the agent or refunded to the payer; add or remove denylist entries, and register, re-assign or permanently deactivate bots in the Vault, any of which can block an open escrow's release so that it refunds to the payer after expiry; point the escrow at a different Denylist, Vault or DisputePanel, but only while no escrow is funded; file and settle claims that pay out ETH held by the Liability and InsuranceFund contracts; and hand ownership of any of these contracts to another address. It cannot take escrowed funds or credit them to anyone other than that escrow's payer or payee.

Addresses are shortened. Testnet only; verify on-chain before you send anything. The Safe is 2-of-2, so losing either key freezes admin changes.

Where Agent-BV stands

Testnet, no users yet. What's live and what isn't.

  • Live on testnet

    Live on testnet

    • Core contract suite on Base Sepolia
    • Source-verified on Blockscout, except the Denylist
    • DisputePanel with three arbitrators seated
    • Relayer live on Base Sepolia, submitting refunds today. The relayer is a Steward-operated service that submits refunds and pays testnet gas. It never holds escrowed funds.
  • Stated plainly

    Not yet

    • No users and no revenue
    • No security audit
    • Not on mainnet
  • Before mainnet

    What comes first

    • A security audit
    • Source verification for the Denylist
    • The relayer refuses mainnet chain IDs 1 and 8453, by design
